Grant Thorburn

Grant Thorburn was first elected as a Federation Representative in December 1995 as the Constables Representative on the Road Traffic Department

On moving to Middlesbrough District in 1997 he became the additional Constables representative covering the whole force area.

He was elected Chair of the Constables Branch Board in January 2002 and also became the Branch Board Health and Safety Leader.

He was elected to become JBB Deputy Secretary & Treasurer in August 2002.

He was elected as JBB Secretary in September 2007.

Grant is a discipline friend and has been trained in Equality issues, Health and Safety, Police Pensions issues as well as DSS matters.
