Your Joint Branch Board
Your Joint Branch Board (JBB) is comprised of three separate boards;
- the Constables (CBB)
- Sergeants (SBB)
- Inspectors (IBB). The Inspectors' Branch Board also represents Chief Inspectors.
Your representative is elected by ballot from your division or department and elections take place triennially. The next elections are due to be held at the end of 2007.
As a member of the Police Federation, you are only entitled to the extensive service offered if you are a contributor to the voluntary funds. For details of the services offered and of how you can contribute, please contact your JBB office.
Your National Federation
At conference every three years, members are elected to the three national rank committees. The Constables' Central Committee, The Sergeants'Central Committee and The Inspectors' Central Committee. The next elections will take place in 2008.
Sitting together, the three rank central committees comprise The Joint Central Committee.
